Art by Laura Gibbons, The Fantastic Apparent.
A Glimpse into the Ethereal Beauty of the Natural World
"Art is my freedom and nature my peace, they come together on canvas and board with the occasional touch of the surreal to take you on a trip into the ethereal beauty of the natural and supernatural world"
I often say if I could I would divide all my time between painting and walking my dogs, both things bring me great joy and occasional frustration!
But in all honesty and as I am not a hermit, I also enjoy teaching oil painting and watercolours on Thursdays in Total Eclipse of The Art Gallery in Warrington and attending art exhibitions up and down the country.
I'm very happy that my art has been chosen multiple time to exhibit at Technically Brilliant Art Gallery in Warrington, and as a member of both the Association of Animal Artist and TWASI (The Wildlife Artist Society International) I often exhibit with them in Richmond Yorkshire, Western-Under-Lizard Shifnal and Nature In Art Gloucester, as well as other galleries.
It's fantastic to see my work on display in amazing exhibitions at wonderful venues across the country and so lovely to meet other artists as well as talk to people who are interested in art or are budding artists themselves
You can see a small selection of my art on the gallery pages and follow me on Instagram and Facebook to see my current works in progress and where I'll be exhibiting next
